MauiBookIt.com ("MauiBookIt," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit mauibookit.com.
We collect information you provide directly, including name and email address when you sign up for the Daily Brief or contact us. Activities you save with the heart icon are stored locally in your browser (see "Local Storage" below) — we do not collect or receive that data.
We use collected information to deliver the Daily Maui Brief, respond to inquiries, and improve the site.
MauiBookIt uses the following third-party services, each of which operates under its own privacy policy:
When you save an activity with the heart icon, it's stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) under the key "mbFaves." This stays on your device — we don't collect, see, or receive it, and it's cleared if you clear your browser's site data.
MauiBookIt uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read and how people arrive. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information like your device type, approximate location and pages visited; it does not give us your name or email. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. We don't run third-party advertising cookies. When you click through to book a tour, Viator's own cookies and privacy policy apply.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties except as required to operate the services described above.
