Additional Info

  • Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • Weight restrictions: For a single passenger booking weighing 240lbs or more, a combined weight (2 passengers) of 420lbs or more or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at the time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers on board.
  • We ask that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
  • All passenger weights MUST be advised at time of booking. Under representation of body weight may result in cancellation at check-in with no refund.
  • Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
  • Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather.
  • Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT AIR MAUI IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat. We follow the same FAA regulations as the airlines.
  • Please contact Air Maui directly 808-877-7005 for your check in and departure time at least 72 hours prior to your flight!
  • Helicopter is a shared cabin holding up to 6 passengers and one pilot on each tour.
  • No bags allowed on board. This includes a purse, fanny pack, backpack, etc.
  • Customers must pay for parking with the QR code at the entrance of the heliport. We have the QR code in our office as well. CREDIT CARD ONLY.

Itinerary

  1. Air Maui Helicopter Tours — Make your way to Kahului Heliport and hop aboard a luxury, air-conditioned helicopter, which holds six passengers in forward-facing leather seats. Once you’re airborne, sit back and listen to stereo music and descriptive narration from the professional pilot, who also serves as your tour guide.
  2. Haleakala Crater — Throughout the 1-hour flight, enjoy unobstructed views while you soar above Maui’s extreme landscapes, including the dense Hana Rainforest of East Maui. Look down on waterfalls and the jaw-dropping Haleakala Crater, a dormant volcano with a summit reaching more than 10,000 feet (3,050 meters) above sea level in Haleakala National Park.
  3. Hana Highway - Road to Hana — Fly over the East Maui to see the rainforest and waterfalls
  4. Fly over the North shore of the West Maui mountains to see the rainforest, beaches and coastline areas.
